St Ann’s Local Lottery has generated over £28 million for the hospice since 1994 and created more than 48,000 winners.

The rollover prize will increase by £1,000 each week the prize is not won, up to a maximum of £10,000.

The cut off for entry into a Friday draw is Wednesday at 5pm for tickets bought from a hospice site reception, or in one of our shops. For payments received by other methods such as online, telephone or mail the cut off is 5pm on a Thursday. If you choose to set up a direct debit then you’ll be entered once the payment is received which is around the 5th of each month. 

All profits from the lottery are used to fund the specialist palliative care delivered by St Ann’s Hospice across Greater Manchester.

In 2023, 69% of our lottery proceeds were returned to the hospice, meaning for every £2.00 weekly entry, £1.38 goes to the hospice.

Of the remaining 31% of proceeds, 12% was awarded in winning prize amounts and 19% went towards the direct running costs of the lottery.

An average of 14,783 players were entered into our weekly draw in 2023, with 35 guaranteed weekly prizes and an additional rollover prize available.
